To help restore and maintain harmony, Gideon forms SEED, an organization dedicated to protecting the common people and preserving the peace. However, there is still a great deal of conflict along the borders in the instability of the new Republic. Norad gladly accepts immigrants from the Sechs Republic as the two nations settle into a new harmony. When the dust settles, an alliance between the Kingdom of Norad and the newly formed Sechs Republic is formed. Frey and Lest win this confrontation, and the fall of Ethelberd leads to the collapse of the Sechs Empire, as a rebellion rises up. The war come to a head in Selphia, leading to a confrontation between Frey, Lest, and Emperor Ethelberd. Pandora speculates that the Sechs Empire will someday take over the world.
The war continues, and odds favor the Empire. the citizens of Sharance are far from the front, but some citizens are refugees from the Sechs Empire's aggression. Norad is still at war during the events of Rune Factory 3: A Fantasy Harvest Moon. The war is still raging during the events of Rune Factory 2: A Fantasy Harvest Moon, but the citizens of Alvarna are far from the border, and largely unaffected. Raguna thwarts this plot and the dragon, recovered, defends the border against Emperor Ethelberd's invading force, holding the line in the ongoing war. Shortly after Raguna arrives in Kardia, he uncovers a plot by Lynette, an Imperial Spy, to summon and corrupt the Elder Dragon, Terrable. However, unlike its industrial neighbour, Norad values its natural environment, and is a mostly-rural nation.ĭuring the events of Rune Factory: A Fantasy Harvest Moon, Norad is at war with the Sechs Empire, and has been for several centuries. Norad is an old country, with many ancient ruins in its countryside.
